Malin Alpsten, Bright Day Graphene

Malin Alpsten is the co-founder and CEO of Bright Day Graphene (BDG). Bright Day Graphene has invented a new way to mass produce graphene, the super material that can be used to boost batteries, improve electronics or replace PFAS, to just mention a few! The Bright Day Graphene material is a green graphene material called Grapholium®. Malin has a master's in business & economics and has previously worked many years with product and business development, strategy and leadership in other industries. Becoming an entrepreneur in the deep tech industry was a big, bold step. 

What would you like to contribute to the conference? 

– I am convinced that creating new, biobased materials is a super important step in creating a more sustainable world. But to just be "greener" or biobased is not enough to win the market, you need to offer better performance and competitive pricing as well.
