Collaborations
Visual Art in Theory and Practice at Karlstad University collaborate with other disciplines at the university, as well as with external actors in the region's art and cultural life in various projects.
"Eldkonst" is a show arranged anually during several years by Karlstad University, Karlstad Municipality and Värmland's Museum. Students at Visual Art in Theory and Practice, dance students and music students from Ingesund School of Music is participating.
"Sammankonst" is another creative student project including students in dance, innovation and design engineering and music production. During fall 2021 the students created a filmed dance performance based on the theme "Det nya gamla" ("The new old"). The working process was a creative relay in several steps which finally was merged together at Ingesund School of Music. In the menue you find a youtube link to the movie "Sammankonst".
In our education we collaborate with other actors in the region's art and cultural life, for example in the annual project Eldkonst on Sandgrundsudden.
