Open Access deal - Taylor & Francis
The library has signed an agreement with Taylor & Francis, which gives researchers at Karlstad University the possibility to publish open access in approximately 2,300 of Taylor & Francis without charges.
What do I as author need to do?
Once an article is accepted for publication in one of the Taylor & Francis hybrid journals eligible corresponding authors from Karlstad University are automatically identified via affiliation and/or email adress provided on the article.
Identification of eligible authors generates a message to the library staff who verify the author affiliation. After that the article becomes open access immediately upon article publication.
About the agreement
The agreement is a so called "bibsam agreement" signed between the Swedish Royal Library on behalf of Swedish research organisations, including universities and university colleges, and Taylor & Francis. The agreement covers approximately 1450 hybrid journals (subscription journals in which articles can be made open access through paying a charge ), whereas pure open access journals are excluded from the deal. Article types that are covered by the agreement are original papers and review papers. Authors have also the possibility to chose between different CC-BY-licenses.
