Open access deal - Frontiers | Karlstad University

Frontiers is a publisher of fully open access journals covering most subject disciplines. The agreement, funded by Forte, Formas, Vetenskapsrådet and Vinnova, offers KAU researchers open access publishing at no cost in any Frontiers journal.

HOW THE DEAL WORKS

Articles accepted in 2024 or 2025 are eligible within the agreement. No invoice will be issued.

CC-licenses and article types

Articles are published with a CC-BY 4.0 license. The agreement covers all article types.

Workflow

To benefit from the agreement you need to be the corresponding author, state your KAU affiliation and use your KAU email address.
