Support with reference management
Do you need help with references or reference lists for your thesis, article or other publication?
The library's research support provides support and guidance on reference management, reference styles and best practices for working with sources.
For example, we can:
- review a few pages of your reference list and carry out spot checks, and provide overall feedback on structure and formatting,
- offer meetings (on site or via Zoom) to look at individual references or specific questions, or provide support on issues related to the EndNote reference tool,
- provide support via email if you have any questions about reference management or how to use EndNote.
Please note that we do not proofread references within the main text or in complete reference lists, nor do we carry out full reviews. However, we can support and guide you to help you ensure the quality of your own work.
To enable us to provide the best possible support, please contact us well in advance of the publication of your thesis or article. If your request is urgent, we will be happy to help, if time and resources allow.
