Welcome to a Day on Resilience, 20 October 2026 – Building Strength for the Future
In a world characterised by rapid change, uncertainty and increasing complexity, the ability to adapt, develop and recover is becoming ever more important. Resilience is not only about coping with setbacks; it is about creating the conditions for long-term sustainability, innovation and competitiveness.
The DAMI Research Centre at Karlstad University therefore invites businesses, organisations and public sector stakeholders to an inspiring day focused on resilience. Together, we will explore how individuals, organisations and societies can strengthen their capacity to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future.
Throughout the day, you will gain insights from current research, practical examples and inspiring discussions between academia and industry. You will also have the opportunity to make new connections, exchange experiences and discuss how resilience can be translated into concrete action within your own organisation.
