International assignment for Martin Fransson
2015-06-17Martin Fransson, Ph. D of Business Administration at CTF, Service Research Center at Karlstad University, has been commissioned by the European Institute of Public Administration to evaluate submitted projects competing for the 2015 EPSA Prize, the European prize is awarded to development projects in the public sector.
There are a total of 264 projects from 36 European countries that are competing and this year’s theme is “The Public Sector as Partner for a Better Society”. The contributions involve effective collaboration between authorities, users and other stakeholders, new ways of providing public services, innovative governance/leadership and new leadership methods as well as increased cost-efficiency in the Public Sector. I am looking forward to the assignment and to evaluate all the interesting projects. At the finals, which will be held in Maastrich, Netherlands, 15 contributions will get the opportunity to present themselves where there will be two winners appointed, in two different categories: Projects and organizations at European, national and regional level, and organizations and projects at the local level, says Martin Fransson.
The EPSA-prize is awarded by the European Institute of Public Administration, EIPA, the EU-Commission and nine European countries. Read more on EPSA’s homepage epsa2015.eu.
