Digital Well Arena-talk on healthy aging
Friday 26 August CSR:s Johanna Gustavsson presented lessons learned from the project healthy senior (Swe: Sund Senior) at the Digital Well Arena at Karlstad Stadshotellet.

How effective is online-training compared to group-based exercises from a functional, quality-of-life and mental health perspective for people over 70 years of age, after 3 and 6 months? Those are a few of the questions that the three year project Sund Senior Träning, funded through the Stiftelsen Familjen Kamprad, is looking into. The project is conducted by researchers at Karlstad university's Sports Science and at CSR and in close collaboration to the network Sund Senior consisting of actors from the Värmland Region, Karlstad municipality and Karlstad university.
Focus for the talk is healthy aging and connects actors from the public and private sectors and researchers. The participants share insights, identified challenges and needs. The purpose is to gather experiences and to inspire to new approaches and methods.
The Digital Well Arena talk is cohosted by Digital Well Arena, the Värmland region and Karlstad university.
