Jenni Koivisto's doctoral thesis in publication and seminar through the Swedish Expert Group for Aid Studies
On Monday 30th November Jenni Koivisto, Risk- and environmental studies and the Centre for Societal Risk Research talked about her doctoral thesis on the theme of Disaster Risk Governance in Mozambique, in a webinar arranged by the Swedish Expert Group of Aid Studies.

The EBA is a government committee with a mandate to independently evaluate and analyse Sweden's international development assistance. Each year the EBA are arranging a number of Development Dissertation Briefs (DDBs), seminars during which current doctoral dissertations in the field of development studies are presented by their authors.
On Monday the 30 November a seminar was arranged on the theme of how to mitigate disasters: reducing risks, estimating needs and ensuring health system resilience.
Presenting at the seminar is Jenni Koivisto, PhD in Risk- and Environmental Studies at Karlstad University. Jenni talked about her doctoral thesis titled Navigating in the Midst of Uncertainties: challenges in disaster risk governance in Mozambique.
