Science skills to go: Creative commons - a tool for academic publishing
This session is part of the series Science skills to go which aims to provide useful tips and tricks about information retrieval, publication issues, copyright, and academic reading and writing, without taking too much time from your research.
Creative commons is used as a standardized licencing tool for Open Access publishing. With Creative commons licenses, the author retains copyright and the public is allowed to reuse the content. There are multiple versions of these licenses and important for you to know the differences. There can be recommendations from funders on what license to choose and you want to get the most out of your research.
