Antonios T. Alexandridis was born in Athens, Greece. He received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Patras, Greece, in 1981, and his Ph.D. degree from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the W. Virginia University, USA, in 1987. Currently, he is a Professor, Deputy Chair (since 2015) and Head of the Power Systems, Renewable and Distributed Generation Lab of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering of the University of Patras. His current research work is focused on Renewable and Distributed Power Generation Modelling, Control and Stability. He has authored more than 150 international journal and conference papers in the above fields. He serves as a reviewer in about 50 International Journals and in much more International Conferences. He serves as Research and Development advisor on issues concerned to power and energy management and control in public electricity corporations (Greek TSO-ADMIE) and other private sector industries.
