My research at Karlstad University investigates the practiced, perceived, and declared language policies in English-Swedish bilingual families.
I am also a research assistant at Språkbanken (University of Gothenburg) in the Swedish Research Council funded project South Asia as a linguistic area? Exploring big-data methods in areal and genetic linguistics.
I have been involved in courses relating to language acquisition, language teaching, and linguistics. I have also been involved in supervising bachelor thesis projects in English linguistics.
I have reviewed manuscripts for the Bilingual Research Journal, the Swedish Association for Applied Linguistics, and De Gruyter Mouton.
