Basic programming for mathematics teachers: Upper-secondary school

The course covers the following components:
- The basic concepts and building-blocks of programming (including sequence, alternative, conditions, iteration and functions
- Algorithmic thinking and problem solving with the help of programming
- Programming in at least two programming languages
- Programming skills such as creating, testing and troubleshooting program code
- Handling and processing data sets
- Survey of relevant subject-specific education research on applying programming in the subject of mathematics
- Applying programming in the subject of mathematics in accordance with national curricula.

Education level: Undergraduate level

Admission requirements: Employer selected students

Selection:

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
