About the seminar
As a co-editor of the Special Issue of the Journal of Services Marketing “Services Marketing Perspectives for Theory and Practice: Focus on Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe (CESEE) and Post-Soviet States”, in his presentation Marek Gnusowski discusses current state of services in Poland and the path to its change over the last 30 years (after 1989). To give the CTF researchers a clearer view of the subject, this will be accompanied by discussing his ongoing research projects from different service contexts. This may highlight the areas of potential cooperation. The programme of the presentation is business-oriented with international focus.
Dr Marek Gnusowski is Assistant Professor of Service Management at the Poznan University of Economics and Business, Poland. He received his doctoral degree in 2015 from PUEB. He also holds a Master’s degree in law. His research interests include Services marketing, Professional Services Management (mainly in the legal context), Managing the customer-to-customer interactions and Cross-cultural aspects of services. Author of over 20 scientific papers and one book, both in Polish and English. He holds Visiting Positions at Universities in Portugal (ISCTE Business School) and Germany (DHBW Mosbach). As a consultant, he has worked with a large number of companies and NGOs in a variety of industry sectors such as legal services and tourism organizations.
