Seminar: Perspectives on Value Creation in the Public Sector
CTF, Service Research Center at Karlstad University, invites you to a seminar on value creation in the public sector.
Professor Bård Tronvoll, CTF, will introduce the ‘logic of service’, and Dr Kirsty Strokosch, University of Edinburgh, the ‘public service logic’. Dr Wendy Hardyman, Cardiff University will present on value co-destruction to reflect on the ‘dark side’ of value co-creation in the public sector. The morning session is concluded by Dr Jakob Trischler, CTF, presenting on ‘public service design’.
In the afternoon, representatives from the public sector are invited to discuss practical perspectives on this topic. Hege Fossum and Christian H. Haave, Bærum municipality, will report on the co-creation of a ‘Dementia village’ development project in Norway. Dr. Johan Quist and Dr. Martin Fransson, CTF, will present on ‘failure demand’, followed by representatives from Helsingborg stad reflecting on the attempt to open their recruitment model to public service users. The seminar concludes with a round-table discussion and invites everyone to reflect on the application of a service logic to the public sector.
