I have done some research within the field of history education. My reserach centers on historical explanations in teaching. In my licentiate dissertation, I examined how teachers in upper secondary school worked with historical explanations in the classroom. In other research, I have worked with Johan Samuelsson in writing two articles about how primary school students construct narratives and reason about causes when answering a question in the national test in history.
Currently, I am working on my PhD dissertation, aiming to expand the work done in the licentiate dissertation.
