I am an ecologist, researcher and sami from northern Sweden. As an ecologist I study ecosystems, the interaction between the organisms and their environment, natural resource management, climate change and ecological restoration. A healthy functioning ecosystem is essential to all forms of life and the human civilization. Ecosystems provide us with the most fundamental biological and biochemical processes, such as plant pollination and drinking water.
