Kristin Wiksell

Research
Kristin Wiksell's research concern how marginalized organizational forms, particularly Swedish worker cooperatives in the private sector, construct and organize themselves with a potential to contribute to social change in relation to a dominance of capitalist logics in the surrounding society. The research explores the relation between power and resistance from a Foucauldian perspective on discourse and social change, and elucidates the possibilities and challenges of organizing for social change within the very context resistance is directed against.
Teaching
Kristin teaches in sociology and social psychology at Karlstad University.

Kristin is part of the Research school on sustainable societal transformation, at the Centre for research on sustainable societal transformation, Karlstad University, and participates in the research group Power, Resistance and Social change at the School of global studies, Gothenburg University.
