Engineering Physics, One-year Master´s Thesis

The course is carried out in the form of an individual project, supervised by university staff. The degree project is to students the opportunity to acquire specialised knowledge and skills in a particular area. The project must be research oriented and chosen in consultation with the supervisor.
Progressive specialisation: A1E (contains degree project for Master of Arts/Master of Science (60 credits))

Admission requirements: Master-level courses of 30 ECTS cr. Solid state physics 7.5 ECTS cr, Quantum physics II 7.5 ECTS cr, alt. Advanced quantum mechanics 7.5 ECTS cr, Materials characterisation 7.5 ECTS cr, Nanoscience II 7.5 ECTS cr and Computational physics 7.5 ECTS cr , or equivalent
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
