Comparative Literature II

Module 1. Boundary Blurring Strategies in Literature and Research 7.5 ECTS cr
The module deals with literature and other fictional texts, theory and research that in various ways extend the borders of critical praxis and/or challenge literary traditions.
Module 2: Literary Theory 7.5 ECTS cr
The module builds on the introduction to literary theory provided in previous courses. The students enhance their knowledge of a specific literary area and develop their knowledge of central issues in literary study.
Module 3: Specialisation 7.5 ECTS cr
Students specialise in one of the areas introduced in Module 1 and prepares for the essay to be written in module 4. The module includes instructions on how to write an academic essay.
Module 4: Independent Project 7.5 ECTS cr
Students write an independent essay on a subject related to previous modules and chosen in consultation with the teacher.
