The Philosophy of Photography IV: The Picture of the City

The course provides an overview of the development of photography in relation to the emergence of the modern state and how the camera becomes a part of depicting the aesthetics of modern life. Students develop their skills in photographic expression and documentation of a given theme through photographing excursions.
