Intercultural Communication I, In the Classroom

This course is an introduction to interculturality in educational settings. This field of study has become central in contemporary Swedish schools in line with the diversification of the population and the presence of many cultures and languages in the classrooms. The course presents theories and critical perspectives on interculturality, diversity, intercultural teaching methodology and multilingualism. The theoretical perspectives are clarified by examples of good practice.
Progressive specialisation: G1N (has only upper‐secondary level entry requirements)
Education level: Undergraduate level
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
