Methods in region building studies

Historical methods in research and definitions are presented with the help of case studies drawn from different historical sources. Intra-disciplinary method traditions are used to illustrate continuity and change in historical analyses of how regions are constructed and organised. The examples serve as starting-points for exploring historical research methods in a multi-disciplinary perspective. Instruction is in the form of lectures and seminars.
