Cut/uncut: The Theory and Practice of Editing
15 ECTS credits
The course introduces students to the theory and practice of editing moving images. Different stylistic approaches to film editing are presented and analyzed in relation to various cultural, contexts and theories, such as the aesthetics and philosophy of narrative and non-narrative montage and collage. The practical component of the course consists of an ongoing workshop and a final individual project.
Progressive specialisation: G1N (has only upper‐secondary level entry requirements)

Admission requirements: General admission requirements and upper secondary level English 6 or English B (field-specific eligibility 2 excl. second language step 3)
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
