Topics in Computer Networking
7.5 ECTS credits
The aim of the course is to provide an in-depth presentation of some current research areas related to computer networking as well as to give an introduction to research related literature within this field. A number of areas such as new transport protocols and wireless mesh networks will be presented in greater depth as part of the course. The selected areas may vary between course offerings. The student is also required to complete a project on an individually selected topic within the field of computer networking, which will be presented both as an oral presentation and a written report.
Progressive specialisation: A1N (has only first‐cycle course/s as entry requirements)
Education level: Master's level
Admission requirements: Upper Secondary English course B or equivalent. 90 ECTS in Computer Science of which at least 15 ECTS in the area of computer networking (this corresponds to DVGB02 Computer Networking I 7.5 ECTS and DVGC02 Computer Networking II 7.5 ECTS for local students)
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
