Study Programme in Jurisprudence (180 ECTS credits)

Jurisprudence is the means by which conflicts are solved in society. The Jurisprudence programme at Karlstad University is a modern education in law for students who want to work in the private or public sector. Students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of law. They learn to master the juridical method through practical examples and oral exercises. The jurisprudent courses alternate with studies in other subjects depending on the specialisation chosen. The three-year Bachelor"s degree programme can be extended into a one-year Master"s degree.
