Member of AACSB and EFMD
Karlstad Business School is actively working with quality development. One step in this work is that we have become members in the organizations AACSB and EFMD.
To be a business school with high quality educations has always been one of our goals. One step in this quality work is that we have become members of the organizations AACSB and EFMD and aim to be accredited according to their respective standards.
Karlstad Business School is since 2010 a member of AACSB International—the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. AACSB International is a membership association of educational institutions, businesses, not-for-profit and government organizations devoted to the advancement of higher education in business administration and management. Membership does not imply accreditation.
Since May 2011, Karlstad Business School is also a member of the organization EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) which by accreditation ensures the quality of business schools worldwide.
EFMD is an international membership organisation, based in Brussels, Belgium, with over 750 member organizations from academia, business, public service and consultancy in 81 countries. EFMD is a unique forum for information, research, networking and debate on innovation and best practice in management development and is recognized globally as an accreditation body of quality in management education with established accreditation services for business schools and business school programmes, corporate universities and technology-enhanced learning programmes.
