Accommodation

Karlstad University has a collaboration with a dwelling company called KBAB. This company provides living quarters near the university to our exchange students. The application form will be sent by KBAB to each student after they have received a list from the university with admitted students. As the admission is made ongoing, lists are sent to KBAB in the end of November. Please be aware that there is limited number of rooms. More information regarding accommodation on this on this link:

As a freemover student you are guaranteed student housing. Please note that these rooms are not provided in cooperation with Karlstad University. More on this subject in the following link:

Besides this we also offer a few rooms closer to the city, through another housing company called Willhem. These rooms are however primarily for students coming within the ISEP and Linnaeus Palme exchange.
