Specialist Nursing -Theatre Care (60 ECTS credits)
A specialist nurse has extensive nursing and medical knowledge for a specific health care area. The profession of the theatre care nurse is based on the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for the nursing of patients in emergency or planned surgery.
Education level: Master’s level
Prerequisites: - A Nursing licence issued by the Social Welfare Agency-A Bachelor"s degree in health care or nursing, 180 ECTS cr including a degree project, 15 ECTS cr equivalent qualifications- professional experience in nursing corresponding to at least 12 months full-time, and- upper secondary level Swedish B/Swedish as a second language B and English A.
