Programme in Surveying and Cartography (120 ECTS credits)
The introduction of the new GPS technique has made surveying and cartography less arduous and also opened the opportunity to make digital map presentations and to work in geographic information systems.
Do you like technology, people and practical work but not the idea of being stuck at a computer all day in an office? As a surveyor and cartographer you will work both indoors and outdoors. The job entails using surveying techniques, calculating, editing and updating geographic databases, as well as consulting with property owners, building permission officers, community planners, builders, and contractors. It also involves individual as well as team work in the field and in the office.
