Mechatronic Engineering (180 ECTS credits)
The programme in Mechatronics is in the borderland between electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer technology. Industrial IT plays an important role in the development of new system solutions, and electronics and different kinds of processors are increasingly used in various products and systems. These can be found in cars, aeroplanes, cell phones, mobile robots and automatic production systems. The programme is general and broad, and the inclusion of studies in economy, project management, and the human-machine interaction places technology in a broader context.
Education level: Basic level
Prerequisites: General admission requirements plus upper secondary school level Mathematics D and Physics B.
