Engineering: Industrial Engineering and Management (300 ECTS credits)

With a master"s degree in industrial engineering and management you will use your technological competence and management skills to solve problems relating to the management and control of technology-based industries. You will serve as a link between technologists who lack knowledge of economic management and leadership, and economist who lack technological knowledge.

The Master of Science programmes at Karlstad University provide opportunity for flexible patterns of study. The programmes offer a common core base and then invite students to choose between five exciting fields of study. The Industrial Engineering and Management programme is one of them.

Prerequisites: Fall-13: Basic prerequisites and Mathematics D, Physics B och Chemistry A. Area prerequisite 9. Spring-13: Basic prerequisites and Mathematics C, Physics A och Chemistry A. If you begin with the spring semester you will take one semester of preparatory courses. From the fall semester you will follow the ordinary programme.
