Tourism Programme (180 ECTS credits)
Tourism is one of the fastest growing industries, both in Sweden and internationally. The study programme in tourism gives you broad knowledge of the circumstances and conditions of the tourist industry. Besides tourism there is a choice between human geography and business administration. If you choose to include human geography in your programme you will have opportunities to work with the planning and development of tourism, locally and internationally. If you are more interested in travels, accommodation, and activities you are recommended to choose business administration.
Education level: Basic level
Prerequisites: General admission requirements plus upper secondary school level Social Science A (field-specific eligibility 5 with the exception of Mathematics B, see www.kau.se/omradesbehorigheter). There may be additional admission requirements for elective courses.
