Degree project of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (22.5 ECTS credits)
The purpose of the course is that students shall:
- apply engineering principles in identifying, formulating, and solving a technical problem
- conduct an independent project to be presented orally and in writing, as well as to critically evaluate the work of others.
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to:
- identify, formulate, and delimit problems and apply the methodology of the chosen subject field
- apply the knowledge and skills obtained during the course of studies on problems within the chosen subject field
- plan their own work and set partial objectives
- present their work in a written report meeting the requirements on content, structure, and language according to technical standards
- give oral presentations meeting the requirements on keeping within a given time limit, intelligibility, delivery, and illustrations
- review and give feedback on a project in the same technical field as well as to be able to evaluate the feedback received on their own projects.
