Analytical Chemistry (15 ECTS credits)

The course treats both classical wet chemistry methods and modern instrumental techniques of analytical chemistry at an advanced level. Among the instrumental techniques treated are various forms of molecular and atomic spectroscopy, electrochemistry and separation techniques such as chromatography, capillary electrophoresis and mass spectrometry. Separate parts of the course give introductions to standardised methods of analysis and good laboratory practice (GLP).
