Library services
The Karlstad University Library offers a range of services to help students succeed with their studies as well as an inspiring environment for learning and creativity.
There are many study areas with desks, computers (over 100) and cubicles for individual study, as well as comfortable sofas and group rooms that can be booked in advance. In total, 1,200 seats are available. You can borrow, read and order books and journals, or access e-journals, e-books or databases at the library or at home.
The library staff help students find information or material for assignments or thesis projects and librarians specialized in different areas can answer specific questions in their fields.
