International Office

The International Office at Karlstad University assists you in matters concerning your learning agreement and housing (if pre-arranged through the university). We will also answer general questions or direct you to the adequate department for asking.

 

Service to exchange students and freemover student
The International Office arranges the orientation week and practical help for non-exchange students, i.e. students who have applied to study master programme or free-standing courses at Karlstad University through the web page Applying to higher education in Sweden, www.universityadmissions.se

International Coordinator
The person with whom exchange students come into contact before they arrive in Karlstad is the International Student Coordinator, Linda Sundberg. She will also assist you during your stay. Please contact the International Student Coordinator if you have questions concerning:

Admission officer

The admission officer will help non-exchange students with questions concerning application, admission notification etc. A master program encompasses a given set of courses. It is not possible to add or switch courses, you may not change programme or change major subject within a programme.
