Meet Dr. Jim Spohrer, Director of IBM University Programs

Service science is an emerging transdiscipline (whole) that borrows from many existing academic disciplines (parts) without replacing any of them, and reframes their essential applied interconnectedness in light of how they can be used to benefit individuals, businesses and society. This talk reframes universities from a service science perspective as keystone institutions that can evolve rapidly in their dominant role as globally interconnected, regionally essential value-cocreation institutions.
